Fall Transition: Flat Black Boots

While shopping for my honeymoon a couple years ago, I remember having a really hard time finding a good pair or flat black booties. I ended up getting a random pair and regretted it about 20 minutes into my walk around London…they hurt, A LOT. The leather was hard and stiff and I figured they would soften as I wore them more often but they never did. Since then I’ve been on the lookout for a good pair of black booties that I can wear during my winter travels {as in….tons of walking}. Ladies, I have found them, let me introduce you to the Sperry Maya Belle Leather Chelsea. Absolute perfection.

The leather is buttery and light, there was no ‘break in’ period and the fit is so comfortable it almost feels like wearing sneakers. It is a great quality boot for a really great price. This style also comes in cognac brown and leopard detail, perfect for Fall and the holidays! Sperry is known for their boating shoes and rain boots, which I know are really high quality, their new line of boots are no exception. They also have a suede collection which includes the Maya Lani Chelsea Bootie in black, brown and gray. I am particularly drawn to the gray as it is the perfect neutral tone to wear with summer outfits and slowly transition to colder months.

I’ll be sharing wishlist for Fall 2018 later this week. I’m seeing so many items I need to keep track of what I really want. Can’t wait for the weather to cool off a bit.
