It’s my birthday week and Royal Wedding week…I AM SO EXCITED! I celebrate my birthday the full month of May, but birthday week is really when I go all out: eat what I want, shopping, dinner out...it’s so fun! My husband is out of town this year so I’ll be celebrating with an all-girls dinner on Wednesday. Speaking of shopping I have been wanting these overalls for months and they never go on sale so once I got my birthday gift card from Madewell I immediately pulled the trigger and ordered them...they are SO cute. I got them in size small and they are perfect {I'm a size 2, 27 jeans, 34B}. I was afraid they would stretch out and get baggy as I wear them but they hold their shape. Definitely worth the price. I’ve had this silk blouse for about a month now and I love it, it’s perfect for the office with my wide-leg olive trousers or casual with my overalls as seen on this outfit. Leather flats are from this small Spanish brand that I found and fell in love with. They look and feel exactly like Repettos but the price is nowhere nearly as high; I love the quality and simplicity of the design. Sadly they do not ship to the US yet, so I tagged something similar.

And in case you haven’t seen my latest insta, I chopped my hair! I was getting so tired of the time it takes to get ready in the morning {I’m a wash-my-hair-everyday kind of gal} so I decided to get a cut and I love it!

    Happy May Birthday!! I love the overalls. I think short overalls are the cutest style but now this is a high contender!

      Thanks Brie! Yes on the short overalls, they are super cute, but I love these because I can wear them year round.
