Every summer there is that ONE bag that every girl is carrying, usually put out by a big designer and knocked off over and over by lower-end retailers. A couple years ago it was the Mar Y Sol Tote first seen on Olivia Palermo; the knock-offs are still in the market today and selling consistently. This year is the round straw bag. It is really just a variation of the round shape leather bag Mansur Gavriel made popular last Fall and Winter. Clare Vivier then took the idea and made it summer appropriate, next thing you know we are all in love with the lovely shape. I was really looking into the Alice Bag as a birthday gift to myself {I always get myself a good one haha} but went with the Mansur Gavriel Bucket Bag instead. Then I was shopping at ZARA and saw this beautiful round bag with pompoms, I had to have it! I paired it here with this lovely little top and bottom set from Aerie, they have the best warm-weather clothes! I love the gauze fabric they incorporate on a lot of their pieces.
